Coverage map

Counties We Cover for Medical Scope Repair

Three counties with pickup and delivery, and the cities inside them where surgical and endoscopy volume is concentrated.

Orange County

One of the densest concentrations of ambulatory surgery centers in California, alongside major hospital campuses and a deep base of outpatient GI, urology, and orthopedic practices.

Los Angeles County

The largest hospital market in the country by facility count, running from academic and teaching campuses on the Westside to the community hospitals and surgery centers spread across the San Fernando Valley.

San Diego County

A concentrated academic, military, and private health market, with teaching and research campuses clustered in a few neighborhoods and regional hospitals anchoring the north and south county.

How Local Endoscope Repair Pickup Works in Southern California

Across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties, someone comes and gets the device. You do not pack a shipping carton, you do not open a freight account, and you do not spend an afternoon working out how to protect an insertion tube in a box.

That removes the step where most in-transit damage happens. A scope handed over in a case is a scope that arrives in the condition it left, which matters when the evaluation is supposed to tell you what the OR did to it rather than what the courier did.

Return runs the same way. The repaired device comes back with its documentation, and if you have several units cycling through, we can time collections so you are never short in the same room twice. Start from your county page for Orange County coverage or service across Los Angeles County.

Precision seals, screws, and internal components laid out in a stainless parts tray
Nothing is fitted until the device has been evaluated and the quote approved. That is why the tray is laid out before the repair starts rather than during it.

Nationwide Mail-In Scope Repair Without a Freight Account

Outside the pickup radius, nothing about the work changes. We email a prepaid label, you pack the device, and it comes to the same bench and the same evaluation. Shipping is on us in both directions, so no part of getting a quote lands on your budget.

The one thing worth doing carefully is the packing. Coil an insertion tube wide rather than tight, keep the distal end away from the carton wall, and ship a rigid telescope in a case rather than loose in foam peanuts. The contact page lists the handling notes in full.

Facilities in San Diego sit in between: close enough for pickup on scheduled runs, and covered by San Diego County service either way.

What Changes When Your Scope Repair Vendor Is Nearby

Proximity does not change the bench work. It changes everything around it. A device that leaves your dock in the morning is not sitting in a distribution hub, and a question about what we found can be answered while the scope is still open rather than after it ships back.

It also makes the awkward cases easier. Sets that need to be seen rather than described, devices that are too damaged to risk in transit, and instrument work that can be cleared in your building on a scheduled visit all go smoother when the shop is a drive away rather than a flight.

For instrument sets specifically, ask about technician visits inside your facility, where minor repairs are handled without anything leaving the department.

Questions we get

Questions About Coverage and Scope Repair Logistics

Do you charge for pickup and delivery in Southern California?
No. Collection and return are part of the service across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties. The evaluation is free as well, so getting a written quote costs you nothing but the time to hand over the device.
We are outside California. Is the process any different?
Only the logistics. We email a prepaid shipping label, you send the device, and it goes through the same evaluation and the same written quote. Return shipping is prepaid too.
Can you collect from several buildings in one health system?
Yes. Multi-site collections are routine, and consolidating them onto one schedule means one set of paperwork rather than one per campus. Tell us which departments are involved and we will work out the run.
How do we get a device to you if it failed pressure testing?
Take it out of rotation, keep it dry, and let us know when you book the pickup. Do not run another reprocessing cycle to confirm the fault. The leak repair page explains why that step matters so much.
Do you work with ambulatory surgery centers as well as hospitals?
Yes. A single-room endoscopy suite with four scopes gets the same evaluation and the same written quote as a large hospital campus. Volume changes the collection schedule, not the process.
